It’s time to give another shout out to our tireless engineers.  Max the Mole, our mascot, has been at it again barking orders, and after a few months of hard work, we are excited to announce the release of the Signpost Merchant Center.  The Signpost Merchant Center is a self-service platform that allows local businesses to post their own pre-paid offers.

Signpost will always be a community-oriented site that allows our members to share and post deals, but we wanted to create a new way for businesses to interact directly with our community.  The new merchant center is a convenient way for local businesses to create their own targeted pre-paid offers, controlling the quantity, redemption times and more.  Best of all it is extremely affordable for merchants to post these pre-paid offers.  Over the next few months, our community will see more amazing local deals on Signpost.

Our goal is to make local businesses more involved with our community.  By signing on to the new merchant center, they’ll be able to send targeted messages to our community to tell them about different promotions going on.  You’ll be able to follow your favorite merchants by clicking on the venue name and hitting subscribe.  You’ll receive an email notification anytime something new gets posted.

As a member of our community, we hope you continue to post and vote on our site.  By voting on your favorite deals, you’ll help us find the best offers in the city, and you’ll also be informing local businesses with what types of discounts you like.  Not only will we be able to continue to personalize your experience, but you will encourage merchants to post better deals.
